Kanta was my second mum. I loved her and found her deeply inspirational. She will live forever in my heart. Nikki x

From the moment Helen introduced me to you and Dad, over two decades ago, you accepted me wholeheartedly as your son and you became my Mum. I am the most fortunate man in the world to have married your daughter, who is such a strong woman because a very strong woman raised her. I cannot express how grateful I am for your love, your protection and the wisdom of your advice throughout the years as Helen and I got started as a married couple and navigated through kids, careers, family, life. Whenever I will be missing you, I will also remember how lucky I have been to be part of your family and to have lived through all our happy moments together. I promise you that I will continue to strive to make you proud of me, to protect our wonderful family and to carry on your legacy. You will always be with me. Love, Jean-Philippe.
